Terrible experience at this restaurant. The food was lacking in flavor, stale, and I even discovered mold on my meal. The customer service was equally disappointing. I would give zero stars if I could. My friend and I visited on Thursday afternoon, and we had to repeatedly signal for our waiter, who seemed disinterested and often replied with "hold on." When our food finally arrived, it was clear that the staff was giving preferential treatment to white customers, which was noticeable to everyone around. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the tasteless food, and the server merely shrugged it off, saying, "I can't do anything about it, sorry ma'am." This server was not fulfilling their respo...
I’ve been ordering here since VOS was located in Cranford. I’ve loved it ever since. The chicken sandwich has been my go to every time. I’m not sure what has changed, if there is someone new preparing the food?, the ingredients changed?… idk. But this is not the same chicken sandwich I’ve ordered 20+ times. It’s normally outstanding and has that white meaty chicken consistency. This is what my sandwich has looked like the last two times I’ve ordered. Can you please go back to whatever you were doing before this change? I loveeee your restaurant and don’t want to stop coming here!
We called 2 times on Dec 29th and 30th to make sure the place was open. The message stated that the place was only closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. So we made an hour long trip to Linden to get vegan food on December 30. When we got there, there was a flimsy loose leaf sign stating that the place was closed till January 4. We've been to vegan places all around the world and we have a savvy of what it takes vegan operations to stay in business after a couple years. That would be professionalism, something this place is clearly missing. See ya!
I'm not a vegan and never will be but at the start of the year I usually eliminate meat for a month or two but I didn't want salad on a Friday night so I found this place on Uber Eats. I ordered the big steak boy burrito. I wish they would have specified that the burrito had mushrooms because I can't eat them. Had to eat around them. Also it was really poorly put together. I recently became a vegan just a couple of days ago, and I found myself craving meat. I searched for vegan restaurants and came across one with excellent reviews, so I decided to give it a try. The owner was very friendly, and the menu looked tempting. I ordered the J Chicken and the burger, and both dishes were delicious. My kids enjoyed their meals as well. I will definitely be returning! Vegetarian options: Vegan menu.
We're not local to NJ so my husband found this place after doing a Google search for vegan places. This was a great find! The food is amazing and the service was excellent. My husband got the fried chicken and I ordered the curry dish. Both were incredible! I will definitely return!
Took my non vegan family out for a different experience and it was really good. Chicken sandwich was juicy and fried to perfection, cheese steak was filling and my daughter's quesadilla was perfectly made- she ate it all. 10/10. Cajun fries were excellent addition to the meals.
