Vegging Out At Clementines Plant Based Deli And Bakery

Hi all! I tried this place when they had first opened and I really had high hopes. Unfortunately, I didn 't like it. I waited a couple of months and decided to try it again because things can change. I 'm so sad and disappointed. I had ordered the italian sandwhich and picked out 2 sweets from the bakery case. 1 donut, and 1 cup cake...that were weirdly...extremely sour?...I tried one bite and truthfully gagged. It saddens me because I 've been vegan for so long and I don 't want non vegans to think less of the vegan lifestyle because of instances like this. 3 times I tried to go recently when they were supposed to be open : as it’s off the beaten path it’s frustrating to go out of the way for it to be closed. Now it looks to be only open on Fridays?The food that I’ve had has been really tasty good vibe in the place with a lot of potential. Since opening they have made improvements to the value of the hot food with sides included which has be great. I’m so confused by the hours it’s a shame.To the owners Id love to see the baked goods and even packaged meals in some of the local cafes and spots around town to expand the availability. The vegan community is trying to support you, make it easier for us.

I kept seeing this place and wanted to support it because it was plant based but.... Not impressed and very disappointed! It smells like old oil or something that spoiled when you enter. The portion sizes was very small and not filling that is if you can get past the terrible smell and eat the food. I love the name and that it 's a vegan option but not worth the price and staff isn 't friendly what so ever. They aren 't rude but just don 't smile or welcome you when you reach the counter. They seem unhappy to be at work.

For this to be a vegan bakery they always have the same flavored cupcakes and donuts need to expand their creativity to include tiramisu carrot cake red velvet etc., broadening your food bakery ideas suggestions is always the way to boost your business and bring in new customers and hopefully keep them.

Unique spot! Cool environment to hangout at during lunch break. Definitely will be coming back!
