Veloce has long been our favourite ‘go to’ location for great coffee and cake, so it was an easy choice to bring our family for brunch, which never disappoints. The menu selection is traditional, but generous and well presented by the cheerful staff. Also a great selection of panini, croissants, sweet treats, freshly squeezed orange juice and beverages. Our family enjoyed a hearty brunch and the Nutella pancake our grandson chose was every bit as delicious as it looked. Love the team at Veloce who have attracted a regular following because of their quality of menu and especially family-friendly service.
Veloce in Italian means fast and this restaurant is anything but. After waiting for over half an hour for a pizza and and a toasted focaccia we enquired about our order. Another 15 minutes later it finally arrived. No apology, no comment at all from the service staff. A shame as the food was actually ok. People that arrived half an hour after us ate before we did. Mistakes happen however all that was required was an apology or explanation of which we got neither. Never again!
My partner and I went to this restaurant for what we thought would be a fast breakfast. We ordered two drinks and two meals, but it took 30 minutes to receive our coffee and bottled apple juice, and 45 minutes to get our food. We noticed that other tables were being served before us, even though we had ordered first. When we asked about our drinks, the server responded rudely. The bacon and eggs were cold, and the waffle, while tasty, was burnt and tough.
Conveniently located on the Holdfast Bay Marina this bright little cafe was bathed in early morning sunlight when we went for coffee and a bite. Serving the usual array of breakfast fare favourites they also offered an array of tasty cakes and pastries with gf options. Service was brisk and courteous. Coffee was perfect. I stopped by while feeling hungry and in need of a snack. They were just about to close, but we managed to get two tasty paninis. They weren't anything extraordinary, but they were perfectly fine. The atmosphere was decent, although it may have been influenced by the time of day.
A Chicken Focaccia lunch here is highly recommended oozing with avocado and warm chicken it is good value while sipping on a Chai Latte right next to the Glenelg Marina. The service is fast and friendly and I would definitely return here again.
Very friendly, coffee is always hot whether you have it there or take it away... service is always good, and fast.. even though these hard times staff always greet you with a smile. love coming back here.
Every time I visit this restaurant, I can always count on excellent quality coffee. The food, which I have only tried from the breakfast menu, is of a very high standard. The prices are also very good. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
We had 2 coffees and a vegetarian pizza. Pizza base like hard piece of cardboard, sparse on toppings. Not for pizza lovers! Food being served to others looked nice.
