I am absolutely appalled by the service on show tonight, being a native Bangladeshi I 've seen better service in the dirty sweat shops back home. For starters my main, the korai lamb was absolutely dreadful! Cooked with fresh garlic, onion, coriander and capsium was the most bland thing i have ever had the displeasure of putting in my mouth, its like someone cooked it whilst juggling divorce papers and a 9-5 as a biology teacher. Absolutely disgraceful to call yourself a curry house when you havent even discovered basic seasonings. Ordered this to the hotel we stayed at and was delivered as stated on time which ment the food was warm. However the Bhuna was bland and tasteless. Not even a pinch of spice. I thought i had covid because i tasted the roghan josh next and it was the same result. Forget spice, this dish had never experienced salt! Then the korma was last and thank goodness i ate it last as ut was sweeter than Solly's icecream! It tasted like dessert. Good point, the meat was tender, the naan was soft and warm. Improvements, either discover what garam masala, red chili powder and salt are used for, or supply it with the delivery.
We 've been regulars here for years and love the food. The menu is quite big but unfortunately no developments with it the 'new dishes ' section has been the same since I can remember! It 'd be nice to have a change up now and then. Most of the curries are amazing... A couple of them are a little bland. Overall though a great dinner and much cheaper delivery costs than Tarana! This restaurant is top notch in every way. The service was outstanding and the atmosphere was perfect for a wonderful dining experience. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fantastic meal.
