If you are looking for value for money you will not find better menu del dia. We lived in Benablon for 11 years which made the Cavila our local we were lucky to have such a gem nearby. In all our time in Spain we never found better value having returned for holiday there after 2 years back in UK it hasn't changed except for upgraded plates cutlery. Open all day for tapas, restaurant 1.30pm for menu del dia. Closed Wednesday. Salad, bread, huge starter, ample main course, pudding coffee, plus a bottle of wine (if a couple one likes red the other white you get a bottle each), beer, water minerals also available ALL FOR 10 euros. I have been here several times as I have a house in the area. The weekday 'menu ' is always a great experience. The food is fresh and well cooked, they have a printed menu of the day rare in SPAIN a good range of dishes to choose from with three courses and of course the beverage of choice, water, beer, wine all included for around €10 a head what is not to like? Paramos en esta Venta cerca de Caravaca un grupo de compañeros por trabajo, nos atendieron muy bien y pedimos tapas y menus del dia, el menú sale a 13 euros con 2 platos , pan , bebida y postre. Los platos muy contundentes y ricos. Yo elegí cocido , conejo al ajillo y pan de Calatrava, todo estaba riquísimo. Fue un servicio rápido, asi que calidad precio muy buena. Pararemos más por aquí si volvemos a venir.
We stopped by chance and went right. We had to wait a few minutes to get a table because it was full. I first asked myself for some chickpeas with pork blankets that were richy. I asked for a codillo that tb was very good. I ate category and only if I go back to the area is mandatory stop.

Trato muy bueno .. amables, atentos..comida muy buena..puntualizar la gran generosidad al ver expuesto el número de navidad y al no tener disponibilidad, el camarero de barba, que tenía 2 me ofreció uno . Aparte de buena comida, la simpatía y familiaridad .. totalmente recomendable. De 10
Excellent choice of 6 starters and same for main. Good sized portions. Central salad to share. Main plates served with baked potato skins. Choice of desserts. Wine or beer all for 11€ a head. Service was efficient as the restaurant was extremely busy. Easy parking too.
Para lo que se paga una comida de bastante poco calidad. El local gusta por su aspecto tradicional, pero se queda muy muy corto de calidad para lo que uno se espera. No entro en detalles de la comida, pero si en como me siento en general.
Parada obligatoria cuando pasamos tempranito. Lo han reformado y ha quedado muy bien
