We have driven by so many times and today we stopped! Wow, should have stopped a long time ago! Oxtail was the best I’ve ever tasted as was my husbands Entrecôte steak. A delightful lady called Chon looked after us superbly and we laughed and managed to communicate well with my lack of Spanish! Full of locals, turning people away! Would highly recommend and will return when back in Spain. Thanks Chon, you made us very welcome .
We visit this restaurant many times a year, but today we felt clearly that we are only TOURISTS, only to collect money!!!! We spent the double of other spanish people, and the service on our table was not Ok!! Other spanish people revieved each two paccharan from the house, On our table it was to much to give a small one... It’s only the principle that bothers me, only that!!!!
Venta Cózar is definitely a worth visit. From the atmosphere of its salon and the kindess and professionalism of their staff, to the great food, wine, high quiality products and amazing desserts. We will be coming back until we have tasted the very last item on that menu. You made our day!

A great rustic restaurant with good honest food. Had a lovely meal, large portions and very tasty. Good service. We were the first people in at lunch, but when we left there wasn’t a free table!
