Ventura's was a delight from start to finish, thanks to our server, Brian, and the wonderful food we had for lunch! The Ensalada Portofino featured fresh berries and the most delectable candied walnuts I've ever had. My mom enjoyed the pulled pork sandwich on the lunch specials, which had a kick of flavor. I wasn't very impressed. I'm not sure why everyone holds this place in such high regard. The menu was just okay. I took my sister there for dinner and it didn't stand out in any way. The prices were average, but the food didn't really wow me.
