We had a lovely dining experience at this restaurant last night to celebrate our anniversary. The traditional service was top-quality, and we were warmly greeted upon arrival. The dining room was small and cozy, with tables spaced out nicely. The three-course meal for £60 per person was great value. The scallops and halibut were cooked to perfection, and the homemade mini loaves were a delicious touch. My husband enjoyed the chicken pate and guinea fowl and pheasant dishes. Small restaurant which had some great dishes on the menu plus a range of fish/sea food specials. Olives and a little canape were served plus freshly prepared mini bread rolls with yummy butter plain salted.. My wife I picked a bottle of their house champagne and consumed this with ease...very good French blended small producer variety at a decent price. The star of the show was wild sea bass on a fricassee of shrimp mussels with a bouilabaise liquor. Good quality products and preparation. AS old folks we have eaten in many restaurants across the UK Europe however this was truly very good. Service by the staff and the Maitre D John was excellent
Great lunch menu, loads of choice of mouth watering dishes, speciality of the restaurant is fish and deservedly so. The décor, building and layout with just a few tables, along with the first class service and the staggered time of dining all added to the relaxed atmosphere. The dishes are well thought out and well sized. For the quality of the food, preparation and service this is excellent value. Will definitely be returning.
We had a wonderful evening at this restaurant. The food, service, and atmosphere were all excellent. There were four of us (two couples) and we each had three courses. Everyone was satisfied with their meal and the wine selection was also outstanding.
This restaurant is fantastic, offering an extensive menu that includes the catch of the day. The service is excellent, attentive yet not intrusive. The atmosphere in the beautiful old building adds to the overall dining experience.
