My partner from Leicester recommended this place. I tried the Mumbai sandwich (vegan) along with a Masala Chai (made with oat milk). The Mumbai sandwich was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, perfectly salty with just a hint of seasoning. It was served with some amazing spiced chips. This is definitely a restaurant I will return to when I'm in Leicester. I ordered takeaway, but the staff (I think the owner) was really friendly!
I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! Jas provided excellent customer service, and I highly recommend it. I ordered the gluten-free 'The Brit' melt, which was delicious and reasonably priced—not too spicy at all. The only improvement I would suggest is to include a knife with the sandwich, as the cheese is wonderfully gooey and stringy. I can't wait to visit again!
The menu is limited, but what they offer, they do exceptionally well. They serve toasties, wraps, and chips, but each item has a fantastic Indian twist that beautifully complements the English flavors. The heat is just right—not too spicy, but enough to make its presence known. It's a great spot for a delicious and satisfying lunch.
Great dining experience! The staff was very friendly. I celebrated my birthday here and had a wonderful time! I had lamb with sweet potato, and it was fantastic—no complaints at all. Next time, I’ll make sure to update with photos of the Kolkata rolls because they looked amazing and are a must-try!
This is a beautiful restaurant with delicious food. We ordered one of each vegetarian option to try, and we were absolutely not disappointed. The spice levels were perfectly balanced.

Good food, good prices! My personal favourite is the brit toastie that comes with chowki chips. Absolutely delicious.
