My parents first took me for a birthday meal to an amazing restaurant in the next village (Clapham, Bedfordshire) back in not too long after Vesuvios first opened, I was instantly hooked on the amazing food, fantastic service, and incredible family atmosphere. Family...celebrations happened there regularly for many years, until the restaurant moved to the new site in Sharnbrook. Having been to business meetings here I knew it would be ace.. for the meal Great booking system easy to use! Plenty of choice! Lovely location setting is awesome with the lovely vistas of Mt Vesuvius it’s like you are there!...Especially for a geologist like me! Food was absolutely delicious and just right portion size too. I had two starters for mains Arancini and calamari both delicious Hubby had the best lasagna ever and he’s tasted a lot) had his favourite pepperoni pizza and garlic bread. Such lovely service too- not hassled or hurried. Definitely a new family favourite !
Had an amazing little visit to Vesuvio restaurant while staying at the hotel. Young man serving at the bar and hosting was polite and friendly, helpful with any dietary needs or allergies and certainly made our meal more enjoyable. The meal was incredible, had pizza...for myself and partner had a calzone. I thoroughly enjoyed my choice (Ciro Special) which I'd recommend to anyone visiting. Drinks were fresh and all in with the food very well priced. Can't recommend enough to anyone if local or planning a group meal or party and passing by.
The place is up for sale so perhaps this reflected itself in the overall service. The waitress was rushed off her feet with little help so could not attend to customer needs as you would expect, most restaurants keep asking if more drinks are needed...as they make money on these. We waited for far to long for food which arrived on cold plates, the food was tasteless and out of our group of could not finish meals as they were poor quality. We ate here a few years ago and it was star then.

The food and service were all good. The restaurant is in a very large area, and reminds one more of a school assembly area, than a cosy' environment. Undoubtedly this is very good for large scale events, but not so good for a family/friends meal...out, and hence it is lacking in atmosphere. But the food was excellent, although the menu was somewhat limited if you were looking for a rather more ambitious food. The drinks were over priced, as so often is the case at many restaurants.
This used to be our favourite pre-lockdown evening meal, great Italian food, family feel. Sadly it is now an events venue focusing on weddings and highbrow car shows. Lack of service and attentiveness from staff waited over an hour for a simple food order and...when it arrived it was only average at best. Diners around us were complaining too. If you’re looking for good Italian food look elsewhere.
This was my first visit to this venue. This was for the Petrolhedonism day in early Nov Also was the time I met some fellow Mustang owners. It was a great day there. Plenty of great cars, good music, great BBQ and the...venue had a perfect setting for the event!! Was an excellent day! Thanks for placing it on and look forward to more events there now I know you organise this sort of things!

I ate here for nights whilst staying at The Sharnbrook Hotel. Every night the food was well cooked and always tasted great. The staff were friendly and polite. I would eat here again.
