Came here last night for our Anniversary. I ordered the stuffed sole. It came out cool, not cold, but I chalked it up to it being finished prior to the other 5 people in our party. I figured I 'd heat it up and have it for lunch today. I was verydisappointed. There were so many scales in the stuffing...more then just a bite here and there, it was loaded with them. Ialso got mashed potatoes and they were very bland. I didn 't say anything to the waitress, as she was super nice, and I didn 'twant to ruin the celebration we were having. I was also a little disappointed that the one girl cleaning the tables, keptcoming over to see if my friend was done with her dinner, even though she was she ea...
The food was great and everyone was very nice to us for our birthday dinner. However, some family members felt hurried as the servers were pulled away while they were eating. I had to apologize to them in the name of the restaurant. I was embarrassed and it was my birthday (a few weeks ago). I guess we'll order forward. Never a problem. I understand you need to turn tables quickly, but we were barely there for an hour. I don't like feeling especially as a regular paying customer. I know it sometimes happens, but if my family members don't feel welcome, put me in a very difficult position to deliver positive feedback. I will change my review if there are improvements.
I am not one to review places, i just eat and leave. I normally leave reviews to my wife but felt strongly enough to do this: The food was excellent, the portions were large, and the staff was very pleasant, professional and always available to us.The dress code was a little better than casual so we were able to walk in off the street. We did not make a reservation yet wewere seated immediately by a friendly greeter. Thank you Vesuvios, we will see you soon!
Thank you so much for accomodating my family at the last minute after our service at Brooks Funeral Home. It was last minute and it was a bunch of us. It is the most emotional time during the process and your staff was fabulous the space was perfect and the food was pleanty and delicious. I could not have been more impressed by the quality of both the food and the service. The serving sizes were massively-inspiring (just like my Italian grandmother used to dish up) and delicious. Our wait staff was professional and prompt. This was my first visit to Vesuvio's Ristorante, and my only regret was that I had not been here before.
Delicious food made the traditional way as well as some modern updates at reasonable prices. Great service with warm hospitality. Excellent place for dinner with friends and family or perfect place for a business meeting. Beautifully updated facility done with impeccable taste.
LOVE Vesuvio's! My favorite place to eat! The food is very good... I have had Christmas Eve dinner there... my sister's wedding party.. they even catered my 50th Birthday .. highly recommend!
Excellent dinner. Excellent service. Enjoyed the background music. Not too loud just soft music. We drive 80 miles to go to this restaurant with our family.
