Chose Vetro for a birthday celebration on a Friday evening and it was incredible. We had not been there before. From being warmly greeted to receiving excellent service it was a perfect evening. I started out with a garden salad (specially made due to dietetic requirements) and my guest had a spicy pasta dish for appetizer. For the main course I enjoyed garlic crusted salmon and my partner had pork chop both were amazing. Topped it off with apple cobbler and gelato which was enough to share. By the way, the specially crafted cocktails were top notch as well. In the background a singer entertained us the whole night long. Dies ist ein liebenswürdiges italienisches Restaurant der alten Welt, das an eine andere Zeit erinnert. Es war ein schneereicher Tag und das Restaurant war nicht überfüllt zum Mittagessen, aber das Essen war großartig. Das Brot war frisch und lecker. Der hausgemachte Minestrone war leicht und duftend. Die Garnelen waren ausgezeichnet. Es war der Geburtstag meiner Freundin, und unser Kellner brachte auf eigene Initiative ein köstliches Dessert mit einer Nachricht in Schokolade. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.
Tolles Essen und Service. Sehr freundliches Personal und sehr zuvorkommend für unsere beiden Kinder. Wir aßen alle, bis wir voll waren und gingen mit zwei weiteren Mahlzeiten im Wert von Essen in die Taschen. Tolles Restaurant in der Nachbarschaft und gutes italienisches Essen. Ich würde den Calimari als Starter empfehlen, der mit dem Besten, was Chicago zu bieten hat, mithalten kann. 10 von 10 Erfahrungen kommen wir wieder! ????????

Always an exceptional experience. The chef knows exactly how to prepare and present each dish. The wait staff is pleasantly attentive and knowledgeable. The ambiance is tasteful and the noise level is low so you can actually have a conversation. Never disappoints!! Bravo!
Angenehm überrascht, dass dieses großartige Restaurant am Neujahrstag geöffnet war! Noch mehr überrascht, dass sie ein Zucchini-Spaghetti-Gericht auf Spezial hatten - lecker! Und ... Panna Cotta !!! Yum!
Everything was wonderful as it always is. It was my fathers 80th bday and there was confetti and a nice card on the table waiting for us. A great personal touch. Will def keep coming back.
eating is always amazing, the drinks are always amazing, and the service is always amazing. I recommend vetro to anyone looking for a nice night.
