After recently moving to Red Bank, a few friends and I stopped by Via Sposito for the first time last night. We loved it! The atmosphere of the restaurant was comfortable, and it is somewhere you can dress fancy or dress casual. Our server, Marina, was extremely kind and helpful with everything we needed. The other staff we interacted with was very kind as well. For appetizers, we had the clams, sausage scarpariello, rice balls, and mozzarella in carozza. For entrees, we had the chicken parmigiana, linguine with clams, pork chop, and gnocchi. For dessert (which we were totally stuffed by), we had the tartufo. Some fantastic pizza in a very noisy room. We’ve tried some of the other dishes as well and would say it’s solid but average fare for a county that’s not experiencing a shortage of Italian restaurants. We like to come here for pizza and if you haven’t tried their pizza it’s quite good. While not over the top it’s a solid go to and we expect to be here regularly
I made a reservation for an outside table that was a choice . I was told when we arrived that they don’t outside tables anymore . This was quite disappointing. I should have read the menu ahead to find out that you can’t get a glass of wine, only a bottle. I heard other patrons ask for a glass of wine too and also an outside table .
I was craving authentic Italian food with a rich red sauce, and this restaurant did not disappoint. The food was delicious! I recommend getting a table in the back, as it's quiet and more secluded. The prices are reasonable, and the fact that it's BYOB is a nice touch. The service was excellent, too!

Absolutely love everything about Via Sposito...the food is amazing, the chill, cozy ambience is inviting, and the fantastically accommodating staff make it a truly exceptional experience. We especially appreciate special they made our daughter feel on her birthday.
This restaurant has become one of our go-to Italian places. Every time we've visited, the food service has been excellent. However, I'm not a fan of the lack of free soda refills or the credit card service fee.
The restaurant has a warm atmosphere and attentive staff, making for an enjoyable dining experience. I really liked the seafood pasta dish—it was fantastic!
The food was amazing!! Our waitress was super nice and extremely helpful! We would definitely come back here! We are from PA and wish we were closer!!
