The experience from beginning to end was outstanding. After booking we were promptly asked to confirm some details, which at first you might think is a bit over the top, but then when you realise it 's all to enhance the experience, especially after you arrive and the whole experience. It felt personalised. The staff were on-point, promptly bringing out the dishes and explaining them as we went through. Very attentive. The food itself was out of this world and as a vegetarian, it 's not often you get that amount of attention paid to you. Every dish was a taste sensation. The whole experience was just a treat from start to finish. Loved the welcome from James and subsequently his attentiveness as Front of House (Apparently he is relatively new, you certainly wouldn't think so given his professionalism and knowledge of all the dishes and associated drinks pairings! then we had a lovely trio of waitresses who were exuberant, fun and professional as well as attentive. Then you have the food my word! Clever, inventive, unusual, and most importantly bursting with flavour and a joy to eat. Superb! Must book I will be back! Booked as a birthday celebration, Chef Jono and his team did not disappoint. When discussing our favourite course on the tasting menu, our party could not decide; all courses were unique and delicious. Whether it was the creativeness of ‘Not French Onion Soup’, the creaminess of the ramen broth or the signature mushroom tiramisu (amongst the many courses) the food was both flavoursome, very well presented and plentiful. All in, a superb venue and great staff; which allowed chef Jono to deliver this wonderful experience

We have tried numerous taster menus and this has to be in the top four. The food was delicious as was the wine pairing. The sommelier was very knowledgeable and the servers were extremely pleasant.
Visited Vice and Virtue in Leeds as an alternative to The Man Behind The Curtain with the hope that broader fine dining options could allow more variety
We had the mid- week 5 course tasting menu whch was very good value. Particularly enjoyed the beef and the dessert. Portion size was just right.
