This is a fantastic spot for tasty food and excellent service. Grenfell may not be very large, and from what I can tell, this diner is the only one in the city. There are also two Chinese restaurants and a coffee house in the area. As a pierogi enthusiast, I had to give it a try. The bowl was so flavorful and filled with gravy, it seemed like it was from a family recipe, but even better. I will definitely be coming back. The service is quick and friendly, and the prices are reasonable for the level of service provided.
Local folks come here all the time. I had their breakfast special and it was quite good. The restaurant is clean, quiet and has it's own entrance thru the gas station store. It looks like a loser before hitting the restaurant, but trudge thru the gas station and you will be pleasantly surprised. Food was well prepared and they got the order exactly right. The waitress was good. A great experience.
We stopped there because we were hungry and they were there. I am glad we did. Breakfast was excellent and the hospitality was typical of Canadians in the prairies. You can argue than one breakfast tastes like the next, but we all know that's not true. You will have to forgive me for not taking a picture of my breakfast...I'm not that guy :)

The food was very good- not fancy but well cooked and tasty. The service was excellent.There was a very friendly atmosphere and we were made to feel welcome there.
Family atmosphere, very friendly staff and great service. The food was nice, clean and homely. Well cooked - we had the breakfasts and they were good.
We had the opportunity to stop here for lunch. Busy place, lots of people. Good food, décor clean and crisp. Will go back again another time.

Great Greek Salad and Cutlet Sandwich. Got a Baklava to go (amazing!.) Very friendly service from a charming waitress. Good time.
