Vic's Meat Market - Tisch reservieren

We went predominantly to Sydney fish market which we all enjoyed. However I couldn't resist going across to Vic's as I feel it's important the kids learn what they eat and where it comes from a lot of the time in the UK the food is all pre packed and you pick it off a shelf.The guy we saw today was brilliant, so informative, the boys really enjoyed it. He showed them part of the carcass from the freezer and what was fat, what cut of meat was sirloin and fillet and the fillet is the most tender. We were introduced to Vic's thanks to Mauve O'Meara's food safari on a lovely Sunday in May. we met the butchers and were shown how really cook a steak. Our purchases included two smokey beef pies, which we cooked at home. WOW is all i can say, and i am sorry Maggie Beer your pie has slipped to one spot to 2.

We love shopping and dining at Vics Meat.The only problem is the consistency with the brisket sandwich, when it is prepared correctly, it is amazing but a lot of times it's left out to dry or not cooked to the correct temperature, it can be tough

we loved the burnt ends so much my partner had to figure out how to catch public transport from the northern suburbs to go back at ten am for more!!!and a great excuse on vacation to have a beer in the morning. Expensive, but great food.
