My husband and I came here for our wedding anniversary. We were seated at a high top in the bar area. There was live music (jazz on Fridays) which was really nice. However, the table was very small and we were in a tight walkway. I actually hit my head on the box that covers the temperature controls twice. It was really loud by the bar, so not quite the romantic atmosphere we were hoping for. However, our server was really friendly and attentive. Very enjoyable evening out with my husband, first time at Victor's, impeccable service, ambiance was romantic, would like to have sat in the bar area, the music was charming, food was good, not our idea of great Italian. The beet salad was wonderful, the bread was hot and delicious as was the martini. I've had better creme brulee, it is one of my favorite desserts, so I order it everywhere I go. The spaghetti was not hot and tasted as if it sat in the pan of water it didn't taste fresh. For what they are charging everything should be stellar.
Lovely little joint in a renovated church in the quiet part of York. The menu is fairly authentic Italian with some great drinks. The avocado on toast cocktail is fantastic!! Our server Mon was absolutely worth the 5 stars alone, she was polite and friendly, had great timing and seemed to be able to serve all tables smoothly and quickly.

Chicken picaata and beet salads were very good, bolognese sauce was good but I wished it would have stayed with the pasta more as I ended up with a bowl full of sauce. Bread was hot and delicious!
Always great food and service. The bartenders Justin and Josh are always great! The pizzas are amazing. You also can't go wrong with the seafood risotto!
