Ate here several times years ago and loved it! ordered take out for our Friday girls weekend dinner at the cottage! We 4 ladies we shocked with how little food there was, there really wasn't enough for one meal. We ordered 3 mains, a mango salad and spring rolls. At my fave Thai restaurants in Toronto, we likely would have had enough for 2 meals. the food was eatable, but barely. the Red Thai curry had no sauce, nothing did really, and looked like no red curry I've ever seen. Mains came with rice rations, small bowl. and the mango salad was green. I like to support the local economy, but next time I'll grab in Toronto.
I had been wanting to try this place out for ages and finally stopped by for take out dinner. Asked for recommendations from the server and it was perfect!! Large portions and very tasty, you can definitely share a pad thai order. Restaurant is very simple inside but clean and the staff are friendly. Prices were reasonable as well.Im no expert in Thai food but I enjoyed and would recommend. Looking forward to eating there again.
We love this great restaurant in downtown Orillia. The pho is rich, satisfying and always piping hot, served with fresh garnishes and plenty of condiments. The made in house spring rolls are our favorite and are really what keep us coming back. The atmosphere is cozy and clean and the service is good. We also love the other noodle dishes and the Tom yum soup is spicy and very good. Vietnamese coffee, regular or iced is great!
I have been dining at Viet & Thai for Years and was So happy to finally have Vietnamese and Thai food in Orillia!Great Pho, Great Phad Thai, Tom Yum, love the cold rolls and vermicelli dishes. Vegetarian-friendly and a selection of Wine & beer. Parking on site and a quick walk to the waterfront/port of Orillia makes for a perfect after dinner stroll! Having read reviews I knew this restaurant wouldn't disappoint. I cam here tonight with my mom as we were wanting to try it out, we've been craving Vietnamese/Thai for a while. You know a restaurant is good when the owners know the locals because they are repeat customers. The dinner was fresh, tasty and fast. I will definitely return and recommend it to friends.
Being new to Orilla, we came across this restaurant close to the lake. The place is simple/basic in the decor inside but the food arrived fast and was very tasty and enjoyable. We noticed a number of oriental clientele were also eating here so that is usually a good sign, I would recommend this place for a 'no frills' satisfying meal.
My title says it all. This restaurant is a great place to go for lunch or dinner. The food is great. It is a simple environment good for all types of eating out. The service is great and consistently speedy and accurate. All in all a great place to visit.
Picked up a take out from here, and I must say it was taste less, also meant to be chicken based and no sign of any chicken at all, very disappointed as read reviews on here before we decided on this place, we wouldn't bother again.
We had dinner, the spring rolls are the best. We both had our favourites . Mine is spring roll, bar-ba-que chicken, steamed vegetables, and rice. Great flavour, hot and service was great.
