I had a great experience at this restaurant! They are very accommodating for gluten-free diets and even have gluten-free spring rolls that are fried in a dedicated gluten-free fryer upon request. I believe it's the only place in Victoria that offers that. The food overall was enjoyable, though not the absolute best. It would be nice if they provided gluten-free soy sauce or gluten-free hoisin sauce as well. Dietary restrictions: They do offer gluten-free spring rolls.
Sweet and sour sauce is a near perfect replica of my father's special recipe. He passed several years ago so I can't thank you enough for this beautiful dish! He always said that done right, Sweet &Sour should make you sweat just a bit ? My grandfather, his father, knew that good food how to celebrate friends and family. When I visit this humble family shop, the same reverent love exists here. I, and my family will return often.
We ordered Pho for takeout, and all four of us thought it was really poor quality. It was likely the worst Pho I've ever had. The meat was overcooked and had a rubbery texture. As for the broth, I can't even describe everything that was off about it—too spicy, not salty enough, and strangely bitter? Most of it ended up in the trash...
I’m an incredible picky eater, but this place is phenomenal. The owner was incredibly sweet and kind, the food was amazing and the home drawings around the place made this place feel like a home. Highly recommend it. 10/10 Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Good variety of dishes at a reasonable price. The food was decent but not outstanding however the portion sizes were terrific. Given 2 of us got out of there at $40 we'd consider going again.
