We visited the Vikings Club on the way to seeing Guns and Roses at ANZ Stadium. Quite surprised how good this place was. We were just looking for a place to escape the heat and have some Hamburgers or Chicken and Salad. It had a small menu typical of a Sporting Club but the nightly specials on the "chalk" board were excellent. Surf and Turf, Portuguese Chicken Schnitzel to name a few. Being at Dundas Valley it is only a short drive down Silverwater Road ( which is at the end of the street ) to the Olympic Site. If you were planning on driving to the Stadium from North of Parramatta this place is a great meeting point. All the staff within the club were welcoming and helpful.
This restaurant is fantastic! The catering area is spacious and can be divided for events, with a private balcony. There is also a large balcony for the main dining area. The Bistro offers a diverse menu at an affordable price and is conveniently located next to a huge children's entertainment area. The restaurant also features a long bar and playground. The view of the park is stunning, in a peaceful location. The food and drinks were delicious, and it was heartwarming to see all employees helping each other out, including the General Manager pitching in.
Vikings is part of the Parramatta Leagues Club stable and a smaller, less formal version of the big brother in the suburb of Dundas in the northwest of Sydney. The menu is extensive with many healthy options and a well-stocked bar. The club is air conditioned...and also has a magnificent balcony overlooking the adjacent playgrounds. There is a TAB output and many large TV screens with various sports shows. Trivia (free with coupon prices for food at the club) is a feature every Wednesday evening and a lot of fun. The club had a friendly community feeling.
The restaurant has a child-friendly environment with a playground. The food is hearty and honest. The service needs to be consistent. They have a great offer on Mondays and Tuesdays. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Despite the presence of a designated children's playground, kids are running around the main dining area and the parents either do not seem to mind or are not paying attention.
Have dined here a few times now, its okay for a simple meal, good place to visit with the kids, has a indoor kids playarea. Service is alittle hit and miss. Meals well priced

Menu selection and young employees make it lack of going back, just one in a dozen.
