We came upon this restaurant which is situated away from the hoards of shoppers on the nearby high street. The peace and tranquil atmosphere together with a cold beer was a welcome escape. Warm and friendly staff who were extremely hospitable extended a genuine welcome to us. Originally our plan was to have a snack however when we saw the food being served to the tables around us we opted for dinner. We were not disappointed. The fish and 1/2 chicken were wholesome and tasty. No fancy stuff, just honest to goodness cooking. A real taste of Catalonia which I sense the patron is proud of. Altogether an enjoyable family experience.
Took a chance on this place as it looked empty. Traditional decor and perfectly pleasant. Orders 3 tapas plates for 1 person. 1st was mussels which were lovely but no sauce so very plain. 2nd was patatas bravas which as you'll see in the photo was literally frozen potato chunks. 3rd was fried squid. Tasty but far too much for 1 person. Also ordered toasted bread which for some reason came with 3 whole cloves of uncooked garlic. Waiter watched the whole time
Took a chance on this restaurant. Should have read reviews before going. Patatas brava were basically frozen chunks of potatoes. Sauce was on the side. Ravioli was bland and small portion. Fizzy water had a strange taste but this is due to the brand as had the same brand in another restaurant with the same issue. Would not recommend.
Hemos ido a almorzar y la verdad no nos gustó, lo explico, la atención bien, amables, atentos, pero luego las comidas, todo sin sabor, lo describo como esa comida que realizas cuando no tienes ganas de cocinar en casa y haces algo rápido, pues así, simple, creo que tienen que mejorar en cocina

Una buena ensalada de salmó y una buena esqueixada de bacalao de primeros, los calamares a la plancha, normales pero el acompañamiento de lechuga y verduritas demasiado cocidas no pegaba, hubieran sido mejor unos pimientos de piquillo. El servicio rápido y atento.
Menú molt bó, havia vingut feia molt anys enrere i he tornat a venir ara i igual de bó o millor. El menú està molt bé de preu amb comparació amb altres restaurant d'importació que menjes poc i malament. Ja tinc un altre lloc on menjar a platja d'Aro
Service was pleasant enough but the food was a key down. Pasta dish was enough to feed a 5year old not an adult. Escalopes were cold,chest and tasted like they had been bought from Iceland's frozen section!
Just off the main thoroughfare, well presented meal. Very quiet on the day we were there, probably as it was outside holiday times
