The new owners have breathed new life into a local diner that we've visited under three different ownerships. The entire place has been renovated, including outdoor seating. They offer daily specials, and I absolutely love their breakfast tacos, even if they're not part of the special menu. The staff is very friendly, and I've noticed a significant increase in customers thanks to all these wonderful changes. I highly recommend this fantastic breakfast and lunch spot in East Long Beach.
This is an excellent spot for a delicious breakfast. The pork chops and eggs are fantastic, perfectly seasoned. Their pancakes and jelly are made from scratch, with real berries, and they're absolutely delightful. My ten-year-old daughter visited for the first time, and we’re so glad we chose this place. We plan to return regularly. As of 2022, it remains a wonderful option. They now have a pozole dish that's to die for. I highly recommend this restaurant!
My wife and I love this little spot. The owner really sets the pace and is always available for some quick conversation and a smile. The food is always good, whether it is breakfast or lunch. The food is fresh, flavorful and good. My wife's favorite is the veggie omlette and I mix it up with omlette's, egg plates, Corned beef hash, pancakes, etc.! You cannot go wrong eating here and will leave with a smile on your face.
Excellent place for a good breakfast. The pork chops and eggs are delicious and seasoned to perfection. Their pancakes and jelly's are home made with chunks of the berry, they are so good. My 10 year old daughter stopped by for the first time, we are glad we did. We will visit this place regularly. Updated in 2022 and still an awesome spot. We had breakfast here today as a group of seven. We were seated promptly. Coffee and water were offered immediately. Our food was served hot and plentiful. All of us were very happy with our food. I would return here when in town again. The restaurant was clean and very nice.
I?m a classic two eggs, over easy, bacon, hash browns and toast and this place hits that out of the park! Crispy bacon and hash browns, the perfect amount of butter on toast and eggs always cooked perfectly. The biscuits and gravy are super yummy too, love this place!!
I would rate this place 5 stars, but I was disappointed with how the owner—who I believe is new—treated the staff. My mother asked a server for assistance, and the owner commented that the server talks a lot, which I felt was unprofessional.
I always have a great experience here! The service is excellent and the food is delicious. This place is definitely one of my favorites! Five stars!
