Tonight was the first and last visit of my family. Waited 5-7 minutes to be recognized by waiting staff, although 3 servers walked from our table and saw that we were on menus. When a server finally came by and our drinks order we got our tea and our soda right away, but lasted about 10-15 minutes to get a beer, although the bar had tendering only 2 people at the bar that already had drinks. Ordered 6 chickens DRUMS not wings, and server even came back to the table to check DRUMS ONLY! When wings arrived, 4 drums and 2 wings were received. Food is good, Management is Questioneable. I went to this place with my wife's company for their Christmas party. The place was nice, but we didn't have a private room which I learned later was promised when the reservation was made. The room was just the company and then they brought in another large table. When the company owner told the manager that we were supposed to have a private room the manager bluntly said that they do not do private rooms even though, it came out later, that he was the manager who took the reservation and had told the owner that they would be in a private room. Really had high expectations of this place have heard people rave about their steak and salad bar how it was so wonderful. I didn?t get that from either. The steak wasn?t the worst but really wasn?t seasoned much just plan and the only thing on the salad bar that was rare would of been the smoked oysters and I would rather have steamed so well that was not for me either. However they had really great bread!! The atmosphere was nice and relaxed. I know during Christmas time it is decorated with traditional ornaments all but the tree? ya got to see their tree !! Overall I feel their food isn?t terrible but highly over priced. Paying more for the atmosphere then anything.
The service was decent and the staff was friendly. We tried both white and red Sangria and it was delicious, but too much ice cream in the glass. We both had a Patty Melt with side orders of crushed potatoes? That was good. The Patty Melt($16) was on a kind of brown bread, not sour, and was boiled as we liked, but the onion pieces were quite large and there was no sauce that usually a patty melt has a kind of sauce on it. We were offered ketchup before eating and we refused because we both expected sauce on the Patty melt!! I had an outrage of this food all afternoon. We will not return.

The reservation process was great. Unfortunately it was very busy, we got our main dishes one hour after our order and our appetizer after our main dishes. Five tables sat after us and got the same appetizers we ordered before us, or their food before our table of 2. No bread was served, we had to repeat our drink order several times and it was still forgotten. Food was bland and cold. But they gave us free dessert for their service. Will be back as I had heard good things before.
We ordered 2 8 ounces of ribeyes with Veggie pages. The steak had a lot of fat on it and it was very thin. We use a thick cut of 8 ounces and these steaks weren't. It looked like a 6 ounce Sirloin. But every place does things differently. Shrimp was good season but very. Very nice atmosphere our waitress was beautiful and excused for our steak.
Everything on the menu is great! But I recommend the fillet or ribeye. I had both, and nobody's a bad choice. The asparagus and the twice baked potatoes are excellent sides. If you are really hungry, the salad bar is another excellent choice. But save space for Dessert.
Always a win-win situation here. Have tried almost everything on the menu (to be a local) and not one thing was bad or a waste!!! Best seafood and the best Steaks seafood in Goldsboro surrounding countries!

Nice place for dinner but because it's so far out of town I always forget about it! When I do remember, it is a good dining experience.
Yuck. Drive to Wilson and go to Beefmaster instead.
