It 's very authentic and the meat they use is so close to the actual taste and texture of real meat that you 'll be wondering if what you 're eating is even vegan... But it 's 100% VEGAN! I got my non-vegan coworkers to get Vinh Loi with me after I mentioned how amazing their food is. We ate at Vinh Loi Tofu Cerritos, and I ate leftovers all week. It was glorious. There were bao buns called sexy buns and I must confess an attraction, yes . This place is all vegan and the duck and all the meats are tender, savory and fantastic, but they also know their way around some tofu, fried or not. The soup is so spicy and filling, and the peanut sauce is decadent. The whole meal was so luxurious and I cannot recommend them enough. Oh! And the food was ready FAST. Food is OK but pricy. I ordered to takeout and I was shocked the owner was begging for tips. You're never supposed to tip the owner, and even less if you were not served at the restaurant. The owner sets the prices and gets the profit from the restaurant. There is no need to supplement that. Owner's don't need their income supplemented, if they do, the restaurant is not viable.
This place is awesome. My husband and I went there last week for the first time and the food was delicious. Our server was very friendly and helped us pick out a couple dishes. We had the sexy buns, the #1 soup and the lemongrass duck rolls. Everything came out quickly, tasted fantastic, and was very filling. This was our first experience with Vietnamese cuisine, and Harry and Cory were fantastic in helping us navigate the menu. They recommended gluten-free options, which made our meal even more enjoyable. Since I'm not familiar with the names of the dishes yet, I've posted some pictures. Interesting Khoi Fried Rice dish with a vegan egg that had a resemblance of a yolk. The drumsticks were fire—like really hot for a 7/10 spice level. The staff was very friendly and they have a bunch of packages of dried fruits and vegan jerky. Oh, don’t forget about the desserts, such as s’mores cookies.
This restaurant has a strong local identity and takes pride in its ownership, as evidenced by the athletic medals adorning the walls—a clear nod to the idea that eating vegan is a healthy choice! They offer a nice, limited selection of vegan dishes and desserts.

Went on a double date and even the non-vegans loved it. We got the orange fried chicken, curry soup, vegan spring rolls, and sexy buns. I don’t usually like the taste of fake meat but this was good.
