Service was okay but food was not memorable. Bread was dry, the perch were good but nothing special, but the prime beef was very tough, missing what I call “bernaise” sauce as advertised, was very expensive, and difficult to order as you had to go into the restaurant and have the waiter slice off what amount of beef you wanted cooked at €14/100grams. Thus was the worst beef we’ve had in vacation. We’ve been in France for two weeks and this was our most expensive meal yet and simply unexpected. Had we had local fare, we probably would not be so disappointed. People eating around us seemed fine. Perhaps beef at this restaurant should not be included on the menu. Sorry. Just how I feel.
Food is delicious we stumbled into this place for a quick lunch, it was so good that we came back from dinner. Very good value as well for lunch. Dinner is also excellent my fish is so flavoursome and desserts are exceptional. The sommelier is very lovely, he recommends wine and let's us taste what we like. He is French but studied in York (we are from London, my partner originally was from Yorkshire) and we had a lovely chat. Overall highly recommend! Little gems in Annecy!
We had a good steak dinner here on a rainy evening. They have outdoor seating shielded from the rain and from direct sun. Food was very good but portions were a bit small, even by French standards. Quality was lovely and our steak had wonderful fatty chunks of meat. Just needed more. Service was fantastic. Wines were well priced.
Very nice little restaurant with most of the outside tables set back from the main thoroughfare (so you don't have people brushing past you). Service was friendly and the selection of charcuterie very good...albeit a little pricey.
