A book cannot be judged by its cover. This exquisite restaurant is of the beaten path and the exterior borders on the neglected and run down. However, the moment you walk inside you are transported to Lil' Italy. The server (Cindy) was warm and welcoming in her greeting. She maintained that sweet Southern charm throughout our meal. The menu was varied with some classic dishes and a few traditional dishes that you would only find in an Italian's personal kitchen. The food once delivered was piping hot, and very delicious. Without a doubt the most authentic Italian food this side of the Atlantic. Vinny always delivers a great meal and experience. Well worth the drive. I got the clam linguine. It was good but the clams weren’t hot and I didn’t think anything of it. I got the worse food poisoning I’d ever had, awful. My friend got the fettuccine Alfredo and she also got food poisoning. Sick all night. Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
