I went to this restaurant for the first time, and it will probably be my last. The hostess was very rude on the phone and answered my questions as if they were common knowledge (such as making reservations and busy hours). She made comments about not being able to understand my accent (even though I have never had any complaints about being unclear) and listed my reservation under a different name after I had spelled mine out. When we arrived, the restaurant was not busy (only 3 tables were taken) and we were ignored. They also informed us that they did not offer wine tasting, despite it being listed on their website. Cute Quaint. I have traveled long distances to come back to this place. My first time was a spur of the moment trip with my boyfriend when we saw such a cute restaurant and we started out on the second floor after looking through the wine room. We chose a bottle of wine, ordered a pitcher of sangria and an antipasti plate, and had a wonderful night. It was delicious, the server was really friendly and after we were finished we took our last two glasses of wine down to the patio and listened to the band for a bit. It was a great date place to get to know someone and to have a nice little relaxing get away from the daily grind.
The lasagna which was pleasantly spiced with Italian sausage was unfortunately served a little bit cold. Service was mediocre to slow which was okay for me but a little bit annoying. what really brought the rating down was the music which was nearlyunbearable. if I go back, next time we'll be trying to dine indoors to try and raise the temperature of the lasagna and shelterme from the off pitch screehing on the patio. The patio dining was great after 8:00 when the so-called singing stopped.selection of wine included a good variety with the typical markup of about two times retail or maybe a little bit more for everybottle.
My boyfriend and son took me to this restaurant for my birthday and I'm so glad they did! The food was absolutely delicious. We shared the spinach artichoke appetizer, I had the Goat in the Garden pizza and a glass of Elektra red moscato (which was the best wine pizza I've ever tasted!). My boyfriend had the meatball sub and my son had lobster Mac and cheese. There was a musician playing guitar and singing some great songs, and our server was great too. A great place for date night. Came tonight and they had live music that was really good. The service was spectacular probably the best waitress I've had in a very long time. We shared three plates and each had a dessert. Recommend the asparagus, the duck, meat and cheese plate. For dessert the mango and pineapple bread pudding and apple pie cheesecake. Great wine! It's a must go to spot for date night now.
This charming Italian restaurant exudes a cozy, vintage charm with a romantic atmosphere. It also features a wine shop boasting a wide selection of unique wines not typically found in stores. The pizza was delicious, all main dishes were excellent, and the desserts were a must-try. The service was top-notch, and we had a fantastic overall experience. We are already eagerly anticipating our next visit.
Love Vino Villa! The best place in Greenwood. A great selection of wines and the food is always good. I love the salads and pizzas. The brie appetizer is great as well. Location is an old, refurbished house. It is very quaint and has a lot of character. I love the outdoor patio and string lights. Love love this place. An absolute must stop if in Greenwood.
