4 of us went for a birthday party. They said they didn't like last time but they went 6 years ago. I told them let's go I keep hearing wonderful things about this place. I wasn't a have of the decor of the restaurant. It looked outdated. We got the ravioli and calamari as an appetizer. Ravioli was good. Calamari was meh. We ordered a porterhouse for 2 $136) And a pasta dish for $42 The steak was fine. The pasta was fine. We had dessert and 3 drinks. The bill was $424. I felt it was more expensive than the top steak house around like insignia, tellers, and Rare650 and was not even close as good and nice. Love this place......has the Manaro flare and great food! Knows what a steak should taste like! They don 't depend on hype, they survive on reputation and quality! Keep the kids at home...people that eat there don 't want to hear screeming while they eat. This place is worth the money. Update: Now, less for more, I don 't mind paying but there 's now an off balance . The steaks are missing that something sorry to say. Still a nice place but no longer my go to.....sorry to say. But hey, give it a go.
Vintage was on our list to try and last night (Thursday) we finally made it. Unfortunately it wasn't what we expected from a steak house. The rib eye was excellent but portion was small, martini was room temperature, atmosphere was dull, and the fish special (White fish over white wine risotto and lump lobster) was really dry and over done. Saving grace was the service. Mario was excellent and very accommodating.
Absolutely LOVE this place! We had an amazing 5-star meal and service experience and will gladly drive an hour again to eat here! Calamari, Beet Salad and Clams Casino were excellent. The NY strip steak and filet mignon were just outstanding!!! Lobster mac-n-cheese is a MUST too! The creme brulee and bananas foster for dessert are all just incredible! Just GO! Steak houses can be difficult for veggies, but this one didn’t disappoint. Our server was excellent and didn’t blink an eye at my order consisting of all the delicious salads and sides. My carnivore hubby goes here regularly with colleagues and thought I would enjoy and I definitely did. Nice ambiance and everything was delicious.
The Steak lacked taste. Literally needed salt. The pork chops were smothered with something that tasted like BBQ sauce. Not good! They also don't make a smoked old fashioned drink. Which is the standard right now. However, the appetizers were good. The French onion soup was solid, Crab cocktail and the calamari.
One of the best meals I've had. Everything we ordered was amazing. The chicken cutlet special was out of this world.
