4 of us went for a birthday party. They said they didn't like last time but they went 6 years ago. I told them let's go I keep hearing wonderful things about this place. I wasn't a have of the decor of the restaurant. It looked outdated. We got the ravioli and calamari as an appetizer. Ravioli was good. Calamari was meh. We ordered a porterhouse for 2 $136) And a pasta dish for $42 The steak was fine. The pasta was fine. We had dessert and 3 drinks. The bill was $424. I felt it was more expensive than the top steak house around like insignia, tellers, and Rare650 and was not even close as good and nice. One of my favorite steakhouses on Long Island is this amazing spot tucked away in St. James. While people often rave about other steakhouses, this one stands out as the best for me. Vintage is a prime steakhouse, so like all prime steakhouses, the prices are on the higher side. However, the food and steaks are truly exceptional! I highly recommend it to anyone who loves a good steak. Personally, I usually frequent Vintage and Insignia, and I have to say, the steaks here are even better! Absolutely delicious!
Love this place......has the Manaro flare and great food! Knows what a steak should taste like! They don 't depend on hype, they survive on reputation and quality! Keep the kids at home...people that eat there don 't want to hear screeming while they eat. This place is worth the money. Update: Now, less for more, I don 't mind paying but there 's now an off balance . The steaks are missing that something sorry to say. Still a nice place but no longer my go to.....sorry to say. But hey, give it a go.
We had a party of eight to celebrate our friend's wedding, and I must say, our experience was absolutely fantastic from the moment we arrived. The champagne glasses were chilled before they poured the drinks, which was a lovely touch. The appetizers were outstanding, and the watermelon salad was simply divine. We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary at this restaurant. I requested a specific table where my wife and I first met when it was a bar called Fuzzies, and they kindly accommodated our request. The crab cake was delicious, as was the Porterhouse for two. Although we didn't order dessert, our waiter, Marvin if I'm not mistaken, surprised us with a delicious cheesecake topped with a candle—a lovely touch! I highly recommend this place.
Steak houses can be difficult for veggies, but this one didn’t disappoint. Our server was excellent and didn’t blink an eye at my order consisting of all the delicious salads and sides. My carnivore hubby goes here regularly with colleagues and thought I would enjoy and I definitely did. Nice ambiance and everything was delicious.
The Steak lacked taste. Literally needed salt. The pork chops were smothered with something that tasted like BBQ sauce. Not good! They also don't make a smoked old fashioned drink. Which is the standard right now. However, the appetizers were good. The French onion soup was solid, Crab cocktail and the calamari.
