For only £10 each, we had an amazing afternoon tea take away from Vintage Sugar Tea Rooms. The meal included four sandwiches, a delicious sausage roll, a scone with cream and jam, lemon cake, cream sponge, a chocolate brownie (so tasty!), and a couple of fresh strawberries. It was a fantastic value for what we received. It was a lovely experience catching up with friends in my 'She Shed' while practicing social distancing. It was a nice break from everything related to Covid. The tea rooms are open Thursday to Saturday, and they had all the necessary Covid protocols in place. Thank you for brightening our day with such a great meal.
I am delighted to say that this restaurant is still just as good under the new ownership. It is now family-friendly and the back garden has been beautifully upgraded. Although the menu is limited, which is understandable given that they have not been open for very long, the cozy atmosphere and colorful decor make this café a lovely place to dine. The pulled beef sandwich on toasted sourdough bread was delicious, as was the BLT on thick bread. The restaurant was very clean, including the restroom. We look forward to returning to try out the evening menu. Prestatyn is fortunate to have so many wonderful dining options.
We decided to visit this restaurant after seeing photos of their afternoon tea and Italian platter. We appreciated the fact that it was for adults only. However, we were disappointed as the experience did not meet our expectations. The waitress was not very knowledgeable and was unable to assist us. Only a basic afternoon tea was available and we had to ask twice for cutlery. Additionally, there were children running around which was unexpected. Despite these issues, the food was delicious.
New owners and a works afternoon tea to deal with. 20 of us split between the two back rooms was certainly a raucous noise! Afternoon tea of sandwiches, scones, cakes helped along with teas, coffees, prosecco and cocktails! Been wanting to come here for ages and finally made it tonight. Quirky place with amazingly friendly staff. Good selection of well prepared cocktails, good food at decent price too. Highly recommended and we’ll definitely be back! Thank you!
Always good to make changes, and can already see some changes. Enjoyed tasty and (temp) hot soup and bread, then treated myself to the homemade creme egg brownie to go with my well made Flat white! Friendly staff owner Good luck!

Have been here a few times and the food is good and different. If you fancy a quiet place this is it, no children allowed, so you can relax. Nice staff
