We had been down the paseo for a cocktail and we were so disappointed that we googled best cocktails and found V.I.P lounge park cafe. This little gem isn't overlooking the sea but so what it's brilliant. Scottie made us feel welcome straight away and chatted to us like old friends. The cocktail menu is extensive and very tasty and really reasonable prices. While we sat there another family were served some stew, the smell was so gorgeous we decided to order some just for a taste. The menu may be only be a small selection but what they do they do well. It was so tasty we were gutted it was our last night. Yes the furniture is eclectic but it's clean, tidy, service is brilliant and friendly....
This is a great bar only a few meters off the main strip and at the rear of neptuno hotel. The owner, Scott is an absolute gent who is very helpful and informed about anything in the area you need to know. There are a great range of cocktails and other drinks on offer. There is a lovely terrace and also a pool table and entertainment on offer. If you are in this area it is worth giving this place a visit You will go back again.
Ef þig langar í kokteila sérhannaða fyrir þig þá skaltu fara á VIP. Metnaðurinnn er gífurlegur og þjónustulundinn alveg til fyrirmyndar. Eigandinn leggur sig sérstaklega fram við að láta þér líða vel og er einstaklega fróður um svæðið og staðhætti. Barinn er ekki í alfara leið en vel þess virði að fara á. Last 2 evenings we have popped in to see Scottie. Our daughter loves going in for an orange juice. We've had 4 of the snacks and each one was excellent and at €2 a bargain. I can recommend the Devils brew which is a chilli stew served with crostini. Wine is good and quality of drinks always spot on. If your looking for an evening drink and possibly a snack try this place out. We will be back again soon

We found the bar on our second night. It is just outside of the back entrance of the Neptuno Hotel. Plenty of people in doing karaoke. We went in another twice. They have a very large cocktail menu and the black russian was very good. Scottie the owner is a very good host and has plenty of returning customers. Would recommend a visit
Only went in here one evening for a drink didn't stay or go in again..man that served us very pleasant but. All a bit run down and shabby...they have Karoke some evening if it's your thing...ladies toilet looked like they store things in them..
Cocktails as they are meant to be. Great personal service with it, the bartender wouldn't take my money until he knew I was happy with my drink. Absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a good cocktail and a good atmosphere.

Best bar in town with best service you can find. Very good cokteils and beer.If you want a good environment and a good atmisphere you will find it in Vip Café lounge
