During our first visit to Darlington, we decided to try out a curry restaurant based on positive reviews. However, there were some notable drawbacks that we noticed. The restaurant only had six tables, similar to the Wee Curry House in Scotland. Unfortunately, we were seated at one of the cramped tables right next to the toilets. Service was friendly but slow, likely due to the kitchen and bar being on the ground floor while the dining area was on the first floor. Despite these issues, the food was good but the mains we ordered were quite similar and the chicken was a bit dry. This place is amazing for food. My son is a very picky person and has been for a few years. I ordered from here and my son loved it. I have been to the restaurant in past and had amazing service, always polite friendly. I myself do not eat seafood and they made sure there was none in my dish. I have even got a few of my friends to go here too. Will always use this restaurant. Thanks again Viraj and to the amazing staff. X
Home delivery food was delicious also got cheesecakes galaxy and biscoff for dessert treat with friend again delicious we can highly reccomend i had the tandoori chicken tikka and had some left which ive had cold today wiith salad equally delicious really enjoyed thanks
Excellent food and friendly service. First time we've been tonight and we will be back soon. Great choice of curries, definitely something for everyone. Good prices. We would really recommend this, book first because limited tables available.

Really enjoyed the Paneer Chillie and Lamb dishes; the unique spices and flavours were phenominal. Lovely staff and easy parking. I've returned since and highly recommend.
Another great visit to Viraj, beautiful food and lovely staff. Without doubt one of the best Indian restaurants around, would highly recommend to anyone.
