We returned to Viron Rondo's on New Year's Day for a late lunch. In my last review I was a bit cranky and disappointed in the service. On New Year's Day everything about the restaurant was wonderful! We chose to sit in the older section of the restaurant which is quite a bit quieter. For us, it made a huge different. We were relaxed and could hear each other. The lovely young hostess actually suggested the seating. Her attitude set the stage for a most enjoyable experience. The food, as always, was super delicious. Frustrated with my experience at Viron Rondo Osteria. I had reservations for a 7:30 dinner on 12/30. When I arrived, the parking lot was full, so I was expecting it to be quite busy. However, it was a mob scene in the restaurant not sure if there was an event going on that I was unaware of.... I tried to get to the hostess stand for approximately 10 mins with no luck. At that time I realized that the restaurant was overbooked and I would not be getting the level of service I would expect. Hoping to get back another time when the crowd is more manageable.
