Virsa the Punjab Indian Cuisine

Just popped in to the Guru for a meal on a Monday night, first time there but not our last. Started with delectable chicken momos, which were very fresh and tasty, with a little garlic naan (also great). We shared a paneer khadai, tadka dhal...and saffron rice, and what with the momos and naan, that was more than enough. In fact there's enough for another meal tomorrow night, and I am already looking forward to it. The small team at the Guru were very efficient and incredibly nice, and the chef came out to see how we enjoyed it all. Exzcellent service, value and authentic Indian food – a winning combination a short walk from home.

My daughter told me about Guru Spices, she told me how good it was and the prices very reasonable. My husband and l decided to give it a go. We were very impressed. The food was delicious. We enjoyed it so much we decided to...take a long some friends the second time. Again the food was amazing. It’s only a small restaurant,but definitely worth a visit. Make sure you book first It doesn’t look at all impressive from the outside, but I’m sure you won’t be disappointed with the quality of the food . The owner and staff are very welcoming

yesterday evening had a meal and was surprised how small the venue was. we have decided to sit inside and be the top of the thirty dollar. Eating was a bit waiting, but it was very nice and served with. a smile. ziegenkur was tender and tasty. only on the bottom is that this place also takes away and the people constantly awaken through the middle of the tables to get their orders. perhaps a division on one side so that dinner can eat in peace without the in the meantime from others. otherwise it is a great experience.

I have to say that Guru Spices is absolutely terrific. The quality of the food, and even the humble saffron rice is truly magnificent. In the present circumstances, we are confined to a take away only, but we have found that one take away each provides...meals for two days (we are getting on a bit). I prefer traditional Indian food that doesn't taste like it's mass-produced. We tried the chicken spinach, chicken korma, and lamb rogan dishes at this restaurant and they were all amazing. After trying many Indian restaurants in the area, this is now my favorite spot. The pappadum here is the best we've ever had, the food is beautiful, and I highly recommend it.

I am very pleased with this local Indian restaurant. The interior is nothing special, but the food was delicious. I highly recommend trying the goat dish. The restaurant was quite busy on a Wednesday evening, with both diners saying goodbye and diving into their meals. Another plus is that it's BYO.

We have tried Guru Curries at multiple locations and it never disappoints. The meat is tender and of high quality, and the flavors are exceptional. It is one of the best curry restaurants we have visited, and we have been to many Indian curry restaurants throughout our trip overseas.

Feel good curries , love the cardamom spice in the goat curry and the sweating eating vindaloo! Added saffron rice and garlic Naan.
