We stumbled upon this gem during a walk, saw the interesting menu and elegant decor, and booked for dinner for four that night. We were very impressed with the food and service. The menu featured scallops in curry sauce and since I don't care for scallops I asked if they could make halibut with the same preparation. They were happy to accommodate us and the resulting dish did not disappoint. Our party also had a risotto and a cannelloni, plus a kale salad and beer salad. All were delicious. We went to Vitae for my birthday dinner. They go above and beyond to make it special. We did the 4 course tasting with wine pairing. We loved that we didn't always get the same dishes or wines and could try each others. I would come here again in a heartbeat. Everything was delicious. It was worth every penny. Our server, Constantine, was fabulous. I highly recommend eating here.
I absolutely adore this restaurant. I'm not a local, but whenever I am in Manhattan, I make sure to dine here. The prices are affordable, the food is delicious, and the service is exceptional. I am particular about my scotch, and the bartender took the time to come over to my table to answer my questions and suggest some fantastic choices. I will definitely be returning soon! I love this place absolutely. I'm out of town and I managed to eat here every time I'm back in manhattan. the price point is great, eating is amazing, the service is excellent; I am a picky scotch trinker and the bartender came to my table to answer my questions and make some fantastic recommendations! I'll be back soon!
Dined here with fellow Australian hospitality professionals visiting for the holidays. Found it on a whim while trying to escape from the cold. The food was absolutely fantastic but the highlight was definitely the service. Our server, Thomas, was exceptional and we thoroughly enjoyed every part of our dining experience.
This place is awesome. My two friends and I had decided to celebrate our birthdays here, (they all fall within a month of each other) and this place went above and beyond for us. From a cute personalized menu to complimentary champagne and desserts, we loved it, and the food is sooo good!!!

Absolutely by far the best food I’ve had! Service was excellent fast, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the chefs specialty 4-course dinner with wine pairings was phenomenal! I would definitely recommend this place!
