VitraHaus Cafe - Tisch reservieren

We had lunch at the VitraHaus Cafe before touring the Vitra grounds. The lunch was good, but you paid a higher price because of the association with the company. We both had the summer salad with lentil patties. The lentils were good but the salad very sparse. A few leaves of many and unusual salad varieties. Not enough to know whether you might want to try them again.

Unfortunately our visit wasn't quite as pleasant. The pasta of the day was a small portion for 15 Euros. More a starter than a main dish and too expensiv for this area. The taste was quite flat and one dish had a rubber in it. The age average of the guests was around 75 and it was crowded.

Great location and seats outside on the terrace. We tried the brownie and Zwetschgencake which were both good. Service could be a bit more friendly but overall a good recommendation for an afternoon break!

Einfaches, aber gutes Essen, angenehme Atmosphäre im herrlichen Designhaus Vitra. Sehr freundlicher Service auch. Draußen auf dem Rasen bei gutem Wetter.

Hochwertige Gerichte in gehobenem Ambiente; die täglichen Spezialitäten waren alle sehr lecker und die Desserts sollten auf keinen Fall verpasst werden.
