We had a great time. Our daughter attends NCSSM and NC State in the fall. We were in Raleigh for a school event. It happened to be her 18th birthday. We went there by chance. We were so happy we did. The ambience was great, Foos ball table and air hockey. Made it seem like no wait at all. Wait staff was very attentive. Food was delicious. Highly recommend this place. The manager or owner came by, spoke with us for a while. Lead the waitstaff and singing happy birthday. Gave my daughter a complimentary dessert. Luckily it was big enough for all of us. LOL My daughter says she’s going to go back when she starts attending college next year.
Flavors Kitchen is my absolute favorite restaurant, and I’m really going to miss it when it closes! Candy, Khee, and their wonderful team truly helped us get through the pandemic with their delicious sesame beef, scrambled egg chow fun, and dynamite shrimp. More importantly, they've consistently provided us with smiles and great stories. I've been systematically trying every item on the menu, and I only have about three dishes left! I also adore the fun lighting above our corner booth. We will miss you dearly! Thank you for your fantastic restaurant, excellent catering, and enduring friendship. We love you!
The name doesn’t give it away, but this restaurant serves Chinese cuisine. They have a great variety on their menu. The wonton soup came in a dark sauce, which I hadn’t encountered before, but it was delicious. I decided to give it a try after seeing the positive Yelp reviews. I was surprised that it wasn’t busier during my visit. It can be tough to find good Chinese food in this area, but this place definitely made the trip worthwhile.
I've visited this restaurant around six times, and based on my previous experiences, I would rate the food at 4.5 stars. However, my most recent takeout order was quite disappointing. It felt like the food was prepared by a different chef altogether. The portion sizes were unusually small—about half of what we're accustomed to. I'm not sure if I'll be coming back.

The staff were incredible—so polite and professional. We ordered a meat and corn platter that was absolutely delicious, melting in my mouth; I've never tasted Mexican food quite like this! As a fan of salsa music, I really appreciated the vibrant Latin flavors both in the atmosphere and on the plate. The decor was also fantastic. We will definitely be returning!
I am so thankful to Cynthia for going out of her way to make up for an error made on an order I placed there. She was kind and thoughtful and went above and beyond what I expected to compensate me for my loss. I am going to recommend this place to anyone that wants authentic Mexican food! I absolutely love the food here! They offer fantastic options for vegetarians and vegans, including delicious tofu dishes. The bartender, Terri, is wonderful—very attentive and mixes excellent drinks! I highly recommend this place to everyone!
Combine excellent service, tasty and expertly crafted food, a unique and captivating decor featuring sugar skulls and lucha libre, along with an extensive tequila collection, and you have Viva DF—my favorite lunch spot.

Amazingly creative drinks and menu. We had HALIBUT fish tacos. Unreal. New to town but this will definitely be our taco Tuesday spot!
