Good Job on Great Mexican Food. I'm from the US so was use to having great Mexican food. I have lived in Aus for 16 years and one thing I always missed was good Mexican food. Not any longer, Vivo makes great Mexican food with a good variety. The restaurant itself is small, intimate and cosy with nice atmosphere. The kind of place you can go and have a nice evening, its not for people that want to rush in have a meal and rush out. big caf. what a terrible experience. 40 minutes for the escaped to turn and another 45 minutes for the net, although the space was practically empty. the food was cold and the quantities were small compared to the price. the whole food was covered in this dark brown mud, which seemed to be on the taste as on the eye. eating was bland and not what I would consider to be Mexican. Yummo, as ever!. They did it again! Excellent, flavoursome food, helpful staff, great music, relaxed atmosphere. I feel like i'm at the home of a friend. It's amazing to taste what one person creates in that little kitchen! Lovely to have gluten free vegetarian choices on the menu without feeling my choice or the dish have been compromised. Delicious black beans, excellent salsa. Wonderful take on the roast potatos, for spring, with them put into a salad; quirky, interesting and yummy. One (tiny) regret: we've never enough room for desert! It'll have to be a specific trip. Lucky us that this little treasure of a place is so close to home ...
Never again. Dismal customer service Food took over an hour (only 6 diners were in the restaurant) When food did finally come, half the dishes were cold. Still no customer service.. Not worth money, not worth the time and not worth the food. Incredibly frustrated and annoyed by the end of the evening.If anyone asked, I wouldn't even suggest you try it.

delicious food. this cozy restaurant has delivered at each visit in spaten. everything is freshly cooked and the food is delicious. that is much more than Mexican food! byo is another plus. it was a joy to turn this former apotheque business of my young (1950’s) into a very unique little restaurant. worth a visit.
Poor Service. Went in on a Friday night with my girlfriend, was sited down, and we waited for 20 minutes or more for service, in which we decided to leave , place wasn't that busy, staff past us a few times, they could of at least told us they be with us shortly, but no they didn't, never again
I have read correctly that the average meal for 2 people was $110. this is a complete crock!. that is on the most creepy proposals for prices I have heard for a long time. we never pay more than $50 for 2 people. what a stupid estimate...more, eating is sublime!
best mexican in sydney! large portion sizes and worth for money is excellent! decor is a perfect representation of the traditional mexico. a must for every Mexican lover.
