We live nearby but had always driven out to Russo's for our produce. And although Volante doesn't quite fill the Russo's-sized hole in our hearts, it's still a fantastic market with a great selection.I love particularly that they stock Valicente pasta products and Shaw Farm dairy. The deli and its sandwiches are also great.The staff are always engaging, helpful, and friendly.This summer, they've had a regular stock of absolutely beautiful habaneros and other peppers, including sugar rush peach peppers at an outstanding price. Pretty cool.
Reeves, who helped us with the Christmas tree, did such a great job. He was so helpful and patient and made the process a breeze. Picking a tree was so fun with the selection and the decoration options to purchase were so cute and unique!! Makes us want to do a squirrel, owl, or cardinal theme next year!! Great farmstead for fresh, local (when available) produce. They really are one stop shop for garden center, and cooking needs. And the staff is always friendly and happy to help. The only thing stopping a 5 star rating is that many items are quite expensive, even for the standards of the neighborhoods they serve. But good deals can be found.
Just got back from visiting this store for the first time. Was not impressed by the offerings especially at this price point—go to Whole Foods instead. Additionally, they are discriminatory if you are trying to buy alcohol and under 30, they refuse to sell to you. Have never been to a store where this is the case (ever). Very disappointed. Went for ice cream, I highly recommend an extra thick frappe. Very good, worth the price. The staff was very nice and friendly. Was very busy there, lots of gardening and landscaping products available. Awesome place to visit if you have a green thumb.
Expensive for mediocre food; always gets your order wrong. Kind of a hit or miss. Their ciabatta is really hard but they tell you it’s fresh. They try to come up with culture fusion foods like tacos but aren’t any good which is a disgrace to mexico
Kyle was incredibly helpful and demonstrated extensive knowledge about caring for my Aloes and Jade plants. He provided valuable information about soils and the appropriate pH levels for different types of plants. Thank you!
Wonderful store! I just wish there was one closer to me. It’s not too far, though, so I can still visit. The quality of the produce is excellent, and overall, the prices are much better than those at other supermarkets. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Charming little country store and garden center with a fantastic deli. Next time, I’ll definitely treat myself to some ice cream. If I lived here, this would be my go-to grocery store!
