First time here, and it got off to a rocky start with very few tables and first come first serve policy as well as a massive private party that impacted food coming out slowly. However, the food was amazing, can’t say enough good things about the fried asparagus. The German beer selection is top tier, great atmosphere, and a cool space. We will be back for sure.
Old German bar with descent beer selection and good German fare. Inside very cool with old murals and stained glass. Only gripe is the music....sounds like jukebox choices and totally does not fit with the strong German vibe and history. Prices ok. The Schweinhaxen (German pork shank) is very tender and falls off the bone. Wunderbar!

One of my favorite spots on the east side/ all of Milwaukee. Great food, atmosphere and drinks. Staff is super friendly and is affordable.
