Second time coming here and was excited but just a bit disappointed after the fact. Our food that was served was not hot just lukewarm. We ordered the gator tails and it was less than warm and bland. I had to send it back and it came back hot but still bland. I was surprised because I had it once before and it was tasty, fresh and hot. I also ordered the Louisiana fried chicken and again the chicken was not and had to be sent back. We also ordered the charred okra which was delicious and on point, usual side salad, watermelon salad and oysters which were fine. I had the Vicki Valencourt drink which was good but the full glass of crushed ice overtook the drink leaving me only a couple of sips...
Cool vibe. Not on top of each other and plenty of room. Drinks are really good. I highly recommend the frozen bourbon milk punch. Good food- not full on NOLA (I visit often so was hoping for some authentic food) but rather inspired by it and still really good. Wood fired oysters and taso Mac n cheese were delicious. Food came out fast and staff was friendly. Indoor/outdoor seating with seats at the bar downstairs both inside and outside. story gives you a chance to look out over the downstairs. Recommend it and I would visit again. Heads up it’s right across from yard house in the plaza so better off parking at the end of the Whole Foods side of parking lot
Two dishes were served cold and one steak was very undercooked. When brought to the waiters attention he said I’ll get my manager because I’m powerless and practically ran away. We weren’t trying to get a free meal, just wanted it fixed and had to call him back. Food was good once it was fixed but it felt over priced. Would not go back

It was my birthday and was the best choice for my celebration. Cassondra was an excellent server. Start to finish it was amazing
