Our group of four adults were walking around the town of Schladming just looking around and enjoying a Sunday afternoon, when suddenly there was a downpour. We ducked into this small pub to get out of the rain and to have a drink while we...waited for a taxi. When we first entered the restaurant we asked the young woman at the front if it was okay to just have a drink while we waited for a taxi and she said yes But the man, who came to take our order, said sternly, No food, no drink At first we thought he was joking but he had walked away and did not return! It was horribly rude and though we had only arrived in town the day before there was no chance that we would even consider returning to...
We came there as it first restoran which has free seats on Valentine's day. Didn't expect anything special, but we was really suprised and suprise was good. At the begining waither bringed colour books and colours to children. There wasn't problem to serve tap watter....We ordered onion sour which was delicious, after that came pan full of vegetables, Wienner scnitzels and half of the chicken. All food was delicious and well prepared. Just like my grandmother did. If you wan't to enjoy harmony of traditional Austrian tasted go there! We'll be back and I am recomending that place also to others.
Das Menü war typisch für die Region, eine gute Auswahl, jedoch nicht zu viele Gerichte, was mir gefällt. Der hilfsbereite Gastgeber führte uns durch die Speisekarte, da mein Deutsch begrenzt ist. Ein Ort, den ich bei einem früheren Besuch gesehen hatte, aber nie betreten hatte, es war...ein Kommentar von Einheimischen, der mich verlockte.
we saw this restaurant from the outside and we thought to try it. if they are for Austrian atmosphere and eat, this is one of the places we had live and wild. that bears very kindly. the. service was just a bit too fast, but I would definitely be back.
