V's Italiano Ristorante

I visited V’s Sunday for a birthday brunch from noon until 2pm and about 6;30 that evening I started feeling really bad. My throat was killing me, couldn’t swallow and my face was aching I went to the doctor and they said I had strep throat. I ask if you could get strep from food and she said yes if the food was contaminated. I won’t be visiting V’s again or eating anyone’s buffet.

Every good post about this restaurant is spot on. Great atmosphere. Great drinks, great service. It is a little dark, but not dark enough that I had issues seeing my food. If I could give a 6 I would.

Best Italian ever! Love V's! I went there because I had not been able to go there since I left Independence many years ago. Still a fantastic place since the early 60's.

Myself two other friends enjoyed a wonderful meal here, this is one of my favorite places to dine, a must visit !

V's is by far the best Italian restaurant in Independence.
