the restaurant was appropriately socially distant and the surrounding noise when eating was nice. the unfortunate part of the experience was eating. three of us four ordered the new yorker strip dinner. only one of the steaks was properly prepared. the waiter did not ask how the meal was or check it back next to the delivery of the bill. that is regrettable because it was an otherwise very beautiful evening. the cocktails were well prepared and the wine was very good. the discussion within the table was that, because the restaurant implements a 20% service fee, there is no longer a drive to ensure that the dining room experience was excellent or at least the value of the meal. subduing servi...
Every time I go to WA Frost, I fall in love with it again. Such a unique, warm ambience. Of course, it's not quite the same at covid-level capacity, reduced hours, and a slimmed-down menu. But the staff was welcoming and the smaller crowd had its advantages. Can't wait till the restaurant is back at full speed.
WA Frost is always a comforting, enjoyable experience. Service was warm and friendly, the food was delicious, and we were seated at my favorite table next to the fireplace. It was a lovely evening with close friends and also wanted to support one of our favorite restaurants during this challenging year.
limited menu for 2020, but the salmon and pasta were fantastic as always. we had the artichoke dip and the taste was great. my companion is a bartender and they and I really enjoyed both the roggen old-fashioned.

The food was disappointing starting with the appetizer a charcuterie. The steak was tough and overdone and the pasta was soggy and cold . We might try it for lunch on the patio next summer.
Wonderful ambiance, great neighborhood, cordial and professional staff along with prompt service without being over-intrusive and good food. Should there be more to expect?
The atmosphere is perfect for a date night. The bar was quiet and service was excellent.
