Wow! This old blue A frame didn 't look like much on the outside, but since moving back to the Island and hearing people recommend it, we decided to order for pickup on our way home from Miami. The beauty is that they are the only Asian restaurant open on Mondays. Were we surprised! I went inside to pick up the order, which was ready to go, and the inside was clean, cozy and fairly busy. We ordered the Tiger Tears, a beef appetizer "salad, "dumplings, drunken noodles with chicken, and scallops pad Thai. My friend loved the dumplings, she and my husband were very happy with the number of nice sized scallops cooked just right, and we all enjoyed the drunken noodles, one of my husband 's favori...
3 stars because we've gotten take out here plenty over the years, but tonight was such a disappointment. Ordered a dragon roll and got a red dragon roll.. ok, but it was a tiny triangular roll, very sparse and poorly rolled, tasteless, and $16! Chicken fried rice, so bland I wanted to cry, completely tasteless, for $16! Just rice in a box! The only saving grace was a good seaweed salad and crabby Rangoon. 2 rolls, 1 salad, 1 box of rice $67. Maybe if it was worth it. I will def think twice about ordering here again unfortunately.
The service was good, although it took a while to receive the menus. The inside of the restaurant was quite warm; I expected air conditioning to be more common in Florida. Unfortunately, I found it difficult to enjoy my meal while sweating. On a positive note, the food was excellent, particularly the roll specials, and the prices were reasonable.
Another fantastic dining experience! The service was outstanding. This is my favorite spot for Thai and Vietnamese cuisine. I always enjoy my meals on the patio. This time, I chose the Small #16 Pho Tao Bo Vien ($10) and the Deluxe Philly Roll ($14). Both dishes were absolutely wonderful! I felt great after my meal—delicious, light, and healthy! Absolutely top-notch! I adore the staff and the food is just fantastic. It's an amazing local spot with hardworking people who always greet you with a smile!
Servers were very pleasant and attentive. I didn't care for the sushi, but everything else was excellent!
