Went on a quiet afternoon and there was only four other tables there. We arrive and seated within a few minutes. Once we sat we were told they would take our order in person and later you can pay via the QR code which was...fine. Then some sort of team huddle took place where the manager basically talked or what looked like telling them off talking loudly for or so. Highly unprofessional and what was worse customers just sat waiting. We looked over numerous times to get someone attention. The waiters clearly made eye contact but nothing was done. I finally had enough and had to go over there to let them know I wanted to order and that’s when they wrapped up. We ordered starters and We got on...
Disappointed. Went in on Sunday and asked for a table, the restaurant was about half full. After being ignored for a few minutes a waiter came over and told us that they were having problems in the kitchen and food would be slow. We were...fine with that as we weren't in a rush, as we asked to sit down, only to be told that their policy is not to seat people until they were ready to order so we could stand and wait at the door instead. Not really what we were hoping to hear, but we would have happily sat and had a couple of drinks whilst waiting to order. It was sad that they weren't willing to be accommodating, so we left.
We were seated quite quickly and when I told the manager we needed to be done in an hour he thought that might be a problem but arranged for a waiter to take our order straight away. The food came within to minutes...but my chicken Rahmen was just a sliced chicken breast in broth with noodles and some spring onions. Pretty bland. There were about take aways lined up waiting to be collected. No wonder the food takes a while. It’s definitely gone down hill with all the take aways.
We visited this restaurant on the way home from Waddesdon Manor. Car parking is all day on Sundays next to the restaurant. I had finished my main before my wife's arrived but that can happen at Wagamamas, mine wasn't that hot either . The...lady serving us was apologetic and was cheerful throughout.

Beautiful atmosphere and lovely staff. We were served by David who was extremely accommodating, friendly and funny. Food was 10/10 can’t wait to come back. Thanks guys x
