Lovely rural setting with great woodland walks, which are accessed directly behind the pub. Very dog friendly in bar area and garden! Staff were friendly and welcoming. The Sunday menu was varied, with the usual roasts, burgers, salads and fish dishes. I had the cheese burger, but wasn't terribly impressed with its flavour. Will probably visit again when in the area.

We went for lunch last Saturday, sat in the fabulous garden with our dogs. The food was delicious especially the steak and kidney pudding! Staff all very friendly and welcoming.

Always a good meal. Plenty of space , for social distancing. A lot of care taken to inform folk of rules ect. Very clean , Service good. Good selection on the Menu.

We were there following a family memorial service in Charing. Lovely garden and the food was very good.
