I visited Walnuts Cafe for the first time today and I wanted to express how impressed I am with the service me and my sisters received from Jodie. From the minute we arrived, she was incredibly polite and very friendly. She told us about the baby chino for my sister’s daughter and she throughly enjoyed it. She’s very attentive to detail, and provided us with the best service. Thank you Jodie, please pass on this feedback to her and our gratitude. She’s an asset to your team
We love this our now, regular spot. We come as a couple or friends for a chat. The food is great, flexible as I always order off menu (depending on what diet I'm on) and they always create perfectly what I require. Comfortable seating, bright and airy with loads of space, not seated too close. Great service, servers have always been great, friendly and polite, smiley and have a laugh. The quality of the food is very high, best burger, fab salads and love the calves liver.
Visited the Walnuts Halfway Street branch and honestly it lives up to the reputation. Place is clean, bright and well looked after, feels more like a relaxed restaurant than a standard cafe. Had breakfast and the quality stood out straight away, well cooked eggs and good portions. Coffee was proper too. Staff were friendly and attentive. Ingredients and presentation are clearly a level above typical cafes. Would happily come back.
Was sat near the kitchen and could see the chef using the same tongs for bacon sausages for the vegetarian items this is a massive cross contamination and extremely disrespectful to those who choose not to eat meat or may not religious reasons will not return again and will be sure to warn friends not to visit hope the sidcup high street one doesn’t practice such disgusting habits do better! Walnuts Cafe in Sidcup (Halfway Street) is one of my Dad's favourite places to eat when he visits. It instantly feels welcoming. The extensive menu leans into comforting, enjoyable heartwarming classics. The service is attentive and friendly. Highly recommend the Vanilla Milkshake takes me back my childhood every time.
Fantastic food and amazing service from the waitress, Jodie. The coffee is the best and I’ll defo recommend this place, I’ll be going back again. Friendly, great food and fantastic atmosphere.
