We used the open table app to make our reservation, it worked very well and as we arrived early we're able to choose our seating, we chose the bar near the kitchen opening , Best seat in the house ! Loved watching the staff create the plates before coming out. Started out with a couple of draft beers they had Guinness, 805 blonde ,Stella,and a local Russian River brew Pliny the Elder.they have a nice selection of Appetizers we chose to pass and save our appetite for the main course. Just had a lovely anniversary dinner. All of the food was good, but lacking a bit of something. As much as I hate when restaurants over salt food, I think the chef under salted the food. Some of the dishes needed a bit of salt and acid. The duck confit leg in the cassoulet was lovely. The buratta appetizer was lacking acid and salt. My scallop dish was also a bit lacking. The highlight of the evening was Jordan. She was the hostess, and assisted our server, and she was absolutely lovely. Our server lacked energy, but Jordan made up for it. She was absolutely lovely.
We had a reservation at 5:00 on a Saturday after wine tasting. The entire staff was attentive and friendly. The food here is outstanding. The wine drinkers had Walter Hansel wines and they were all good. I shared escargot and crab cakes, both were excellent. I had the duck with polenta which was perfect. The rest of the table had beet salad, Cordon Bleu, Seafood Paella and strawberry crisp. There were no complaints. I would definitely come back. A big thank you to our server Mandy.
This was a long overdue visit and it was well worth the wait. From the moment we were greeted to the last of the coffee and dessert, everything was excellently done. We started with the duck confit rillettes that was served warm. Then we paired a classic Cesar salad(it had lovely bocorrones) with a special beef tenderloin (cooked to a perfect medium rare. We absolutely adore this restaurant and highly recommend it! The service was incredible and very accommodating to our group (which included several toddlers and babies for a grandparent's birthday celebration). The food and wine were delicious, and the setting was beautiful. Overall, our experience could not have been any better.
I do not recommend ordering the chicken cordon bleu as it was very dry, almost like it had been reheated. I had to send it back, but they did give me a 50% discount on the meal.
