It is a nice restaurant, located in downtown area of Claremont! I have been here several times. The meals, that I have ordered, were delicious. At the same time, they were well prepared. The wait time, for the meals, was not long. In addition, the waiters, who tended my table, were helpful and attentive. The cocktails, too, were well-made. So, I would recommend anyone who enjoys fine-dining, to visit this restaurant. Of course, prices were on the expensive side. Still, despite this inflation, they were worth it. Therefore, I will visit this restaurant again. However, first, I need to allocate discretionary funds.
I make the 40-mile drive from LA to Walters several times a year just for their incredible Afghan specialties. My favorite dish is the Kabuli Pilaf, which features fragrant rice with carrots, raisins, and tender lamb pieces. I also like to take home a few bottles of their delicious spicy red chutney. The restaurant is large but has a cozy and inviting atmosphere, and the service is professional and attentive.
I had an amazing lunch yesterday! I enjoy spicy food, and the spicy chicken pasta was simply delicious! The service was outstanding. After our meal, we explored the different rooms that are perfect for both large and small private meetings. This restaurant and its team truly excel in what they do, and it really shows!
Last night we had another one of many great dining experiences at Walters! We celebrated two birthdays and were accommodated in the beautiful Afghan room. Great food! Great service! Great people! I’ve been going to Walter’s for years, and have seen it grow and evolve for nearly thirty years. The food and service are consistently good. Whenever I’m in Claremont, Walter’s is my first choice

Always amazing and service outstanding. Outside seating gets a beautiful breeze running through it. Special place in my heart, been going here since 1977.
