The place was a nice local eatery with a sport bar and trendy bar feel. It was extremely clean and well maintained. Although it wasn 't packed when we arrived (right at opening), I can see this place being extremely packed at night due to its small size.The bathroom was clean, but only one toilet per, and there were two of them. An impromptu dinner date was on the cards and my wife decided to surprise me as she thought of a place before I could for dinner. We then made the drive and arrived at Walter?s. On a busy Thursday night, we were able to snag two seats at the barcounter. If we didn?t, it would have been a 45-60 minute wait. We arrived around 7:00 PM, so keep that in mind when youvisit! Alright, so "Heat of the Moment" by Asia just started playing, and then this pizza arrived. I'm not quite sure why I decided to go for deep dish since I usually don't. We ordered "The Big Frizz" (with no olives), and honestly, it tastes like something straight out of Chicago, which I've never been to but would imagine it would be like this if I did. It was steaming hot, the cheese was wonderfully stringy just the way I like it, and it was deep just as I requested. The toppings were mouthwatering, and the homemade ranch was a perfect touch. I visited Walters in Flying Horse twice, and it has become my favorite pizza spot in Colorado Springs. The crust is thin, fresh, and wonderfully crunchy, and they offer a great variety of punches and an impressive selection of beer. While the place is a bit small, it’s definitely worth it, as evidenced by the crowds of patrons enjoying it. My only hesitation in recommending it is due to the longer wait times. After a long day of travel, we decided to grab a bite at this restaurant. Zach was our waiter, and he was absolutely fantastic—extremely friendly! We never had to wait for our drinks to be refilled. The food was incredible! Despite the restaurant being busy, all the staff were working diligently.
I absolutely loved it! The cheese sticks were amazing. My husband had the gluten-free pizza crust and said it was the best he’s ever had—he couldn’t even tell it was different from the regular crust. The service was great as well. We will definitely be back!
The pizza here is delicious, and the atmosphere is very pleasant. I tried the Mile-High Meat on regular crust, and it was fantastic. The sausage had a wonderful Italian flavor, far superior to just ordinary ground beef or pork.

Great pizza! Good selection of different types of food on the menu. Service is great. Bartenders and waiting staff are very friendly. You have a well equipped bar and a very comfortable dining area.
